UDF (INDOOR) AIR COOLED DUCTED SYSTEM
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The basic unit shall be fabricated out of 18 to 20 gauge galvanized steel. The cabinet units are insulated with 10mm Polyethylene (PE) foam. The unit shall have a 1 inch return air duct collar at the rear side of the unit. Unit will have channel base placed across the width at the bottom of the unit for hanging purpose.
COILS
Coils are made of aluminium fins as standard. The coil consists of 3/8” OD seamless copper tubes mechanically bonded to cooling coil fins. Coils shall be factory leak tested at 350psig and suitable for working pressures up to 250psig.
MOTOR & DRIVE PACKAGE
TEFC Motors foot mounted shall be three phase with 380-415V for 50Hz application. Drive package supplied as factory standard. The motor is IP55 with class F insulation as standard. Motor bearing shall be self lubricated sealed for life. The fan motor shall be easily removable for serviceability. A terminal box with terminal strip shall be provided forterminating the wiring. On ceiling concealed units with plenum, the filter shall be easily removable from either side or the back.
FANS
Fans shall be double width, double inlet centrifugal forward-curved type. Fan wheel shall be statically and dynamically balanced for smooth quiet operation. Fan wheels and housings shall be galvanized steel. The discharge orientation is rear horizontal for standard unit. The blower discharge will have 1” collar for duct connection.
ACCESS DOOR
Two access doors provided at blower section with one of each side, for the better serviceability.
DRAIN PAN
Drain pans shall be fabricated of 20 gauge galvanized steel with external surfaces insulated with 6mm Polyethylene (PE) foam to ensure maximum protection against condensation. Drain connection shall be 1¼” inch OD, non-threaded.
FILTERS
Nominal 1-inch thick washable flat filters of 75% - 80% arrestancesupplied as standard item.
SEQUENTIAL CONTROLLER AS STANDARD
This controller is supplied as the standard accessory, where the systems are matched with two outdoor units and more. Benefits of this controller include part loading of system capacity. In additional, the sequential controller can be installed at a distance of 1km away from the main controller.

This multi function controller provides the following features :• Sequential control and balance loading up to 2 compressor.• Optional operation mode, available selection are “Heat/Cool/Auto/Fan” mode.• 2 stages auxiliary electric heater.• Wired LCD control with 7 days programmable timer.• Self diagnostic functions.• Alternative outdoor defrost cycle.• Auto random restart option – memory backup.
CHOICES OF WIRED AND WIRELESS CONTROLLER
Standard unit come with a simple and user friendly LCD Remote Control. An optional specification of UDF series is also available that come with Sequential controller, which offers wide range of control features that includes 7 days and 24 hours timer settings, self diagnosis error code display and more.
SELF DIAGNOSIS FEATURES
The microprocessor provides the possibility to detect and to diagnose any fault that occurs in the system. Faults are displayed as error code in the wired controller. This will ease the troubleshooting process.
FLEXIBILITY OF THE AIR SUPPLY
To increase the flexibility if the unit for wider application, UDF is incorporated with belt driven blower as it can be adjusted easily based on customers requirement to achieve various air volume & static.
AIR DISCHARGE ORIENTATION
All model are standard horizontal air discharge. However, YDF300D-500D are convertible to vertical air discharge.
